How Can severe Soreness On The Neck be Treated?

Hi im i have been n a abusive relationship for the past three years recently on the 18th he chocked me off my feet that night i didnt feel anything but the next day n night just the outside of my neck was sore but yoday its completly painful to swollow or even to turn my neck to the right...what could be tbe problem? And what should i do?

Hello,

Very likely you are having a muscular pain due to the force applied there. Taking some paracetamol and ibuprofen might be helpful. If no help with these or any worsening please see your doctor.On the other hand I would recommend you to seek help related to the abusive relationship, you never know when things can become more serious.

There should be organizations you can contact that help women under abusive relationship and also a possible alternative is letting the police know of the incidents of choking you.It is very important that you put yourself in a safe place out of the danger of harm to you or your life.
